DÉCOUVREZ LES 14 MUSÉES DE LA VILLE DE PARIS
Main menu
From 16th October 2003 to 1st February 2004
Pierre Buraglio, a major figure of contemporary French art, presents the first works resulting from his collaboration with the writer Jean Frémon, a poet, novelist and art critic, at the Musée Zadkine.
Accustomed to this type of approach, he has enriched his work both through encounters with contemporary artists and writers and the pictorial and literary works of ancient masters such as Poussin, Courbet, Cézanne and Sade, Montesquieu and Heraclitus.
His pictorial work appears here like a fruitful dialogue between himself and the writer, taking elements of the text by Jean Frémon in order to later achieve a co-signed artists’ book, an object enriched with the words of the poet and the pictorial research of the artist.
