For its reopening after an initial phase of works, the Musée Zadkine offers an exhibition whose subject is the museum itself and its context. An artistic reflection on this place of memory and creation, this exhibition places the artists and the public at the heart of the museum’s transformation process. It's an encounter between the site and those who understand it.

Routes especially created or adapted for the occasion have been produced. Everything has been designed, in an independent fashion, for the museum and its distinct areas with their specific qualities. These works appear alongside each other without becoming confused. Whether shards (Daniel Walravens), transformation (Maria Spangaro & Jean-Baptiste Bruant), or movement (Soussan Ltd, museum supplier), they present interactions with their environment, echoing the aesthetic of fragmentation adopted by Ossip Zadkine in the sculptures of his last period.
